Bio

Pearl Ayon is a Latina singer and songwriter from San Diego, CA.  She comes from a family of musicians, and for as long as she can remember; she has always enjoyed writing and singing music.  “I absolutely love to write.  I can translate my thoughts into art…and then to be able to sing my songs is just a complete therapeutic process for me.”

Her music reflects the deepest and most sincere of emotions and passion.  “I’m an extremely loving person, and it becomes a centric perspective on how I absorb and view the world and my experiences”.  “My life is thus poetic, and my lyrics tell the story”.

As a fan of a diverse spectrum of musicians and genres, Pearl’s music can be described as the Latin Nu Soul child of Hip-Hop and R&B.  Her childhood idols included the late Spanish legend Rocio Durcal and such top Mexican vocal groups as Los Panchos and Los Tres Reyes.  As she grew she became a fan of TLC and Lauryn Hill.  And nowadays you can find her bumbin Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black Station on Pandora or the smooth sounds of Mayer Hawthorne and company.

Pearl’s music is unique in its own.  Her ability to write lyrics that pull at your most defined emotions, and anchor them over strong solid hip-hop beats with her sensationally sultry voice creates the perfect ingredients for mega stardom in the States as well as the exploding Latin American market.

Having performed thousands of times in hundreds of venues, her experience is refreshingly welcomed on stage as she trances audiences into rhythmic head nodding and awe.  Pearl is currently exploring the scene in Los Angeles while working on her next release.  For booking information send an email to info@solopearl.com.
